Complaint Resolution Policy
This policy explains how to raise a complaint about a Wisdify continuing professional education course, how we respond, and how to escalate if you are not satisfied.
What This Covers
- Complaints about course content, including accuracy, currency, and whether a course met its stated learning objectives.
- Complaints about CPE administration, including credits awarded, fields of study, program levels, certificates, and completion records.
- Complaints about delivery, including access problems, playback faults, assessment behaviour, and the responsiveness of support.
- Complaints about billing are handled under the Refund & Cancellation Policy, though you may raise them here and we will route them.
How to Raise a Complaint
- Email the address below from the address on your Wisdify account. Name the course, describe what happened, and tell us what outcome you are seeking.
- You do not need to use any particular form of words, and raising a complaint never affects your access to courses you are entitled to.
How We Respond
- We aim to acknowledge every complaint within 3 business days of receipt, and to resolve it within 15 business days. These are the standards we work to. Where a complaint needs review by the course author or a subject-matter expert we will tell you so and give you a revised date.
- Complaints about course content are reviewed by someone other than the person who authored the content.
- You will receive the outcome in writing, with the reasoning behind it. If we uphold your complaint we will tell you what we are changing as a result.
If You Are Not Satisfied
- You may ask for the decision to be reviewed once by someone not involved in the original response. Reply to the outcome email to request this.
- Records of complaints and their resolutions are retained for five years as part of our CPE sponsor records.
- Where a complaint concerns CPE credit that was awarded or withdrawn, the outcome may include reinstating a revoked completion and its certificate. Only an administrator can do this — retaking a course assessment does not restore withdrawn credit.
Escalating to NASBA
- You may complain to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors at any point, including before contacting us and regardless of the outcome we reach. Doing so does not require our agreement.
- Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.nasbaregistry.org.
- State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit.
