We’ve rolled out a new Wisdify learning platform, and we’re excited to show you around.
This update brings more ways to learn, a better way to keep track of your CPE certificates, and an opportunity to share feedback after completing a course. It also sets the foundation for some of the things we’re most excited to bring you next: a mobile app, simulated learning environments, and more opportunities to learn alongside other professionals.
The goal is simple: make it easier to build useful skills and fit continuing education into your day.
One of the biggest additions is podcast CPE courses.
Audio gives you another way to explore a topic when you’d prefer to listen. Alongside our video courses, you can now choose podcast courses that connect accounting and finance concepts to real business situations.
For example, The CrowdStrike Outage: Technology Risk for CPAs explores how a technology disruption can become a financial, operational, and reporting problem—and what accounting professionals can learn from it.
These are structured learning experiences, with quizzes and a final assessment to complete as part of earning your CPE. You get the conversational format of a podcast with opportunities to check your understanding along the way.
Podcast courses are available on the web platform now. A dedicated mobile app is coming soon.
We’ve also given CPE tracking and certificates more attention.
Completing a course should feel satisfying. Finding the certificate later should be straightforward.
The improved CPE Tracker brings together the credits you’ve earned on Wisdify and their certificates. You can search your completed courses, filter by date or field of study, and download certificate PDFs. You can also download multiple certificates together or have them emailed to you.
Whether you’re keeping your own records up to date or gathering documentation for your employer, these improvements make the administrative side of learning easier to manage.
Another addition is course feedback after completion.
Once you finish a course, you can share your thoughts about the experience. Tell us what was useful, where an explanation could be clearer, or what would make the course more relevant to your work.
That feedback gives us a better understanding of what learners need. We want to hear from you while the experience is still fresh, so we can use those insights to guide improvements.
There’s more ahead, too.
Our upcoming mobile app for podcast courses will make it more convenient to access audio learning from your phone. We’ll share more details as it gets closer to launch.
We’re also planning simulated learning and training environments. The aim is to give you more opportunities to apply what you’re learning: work through a realistic situation, make decisions, and practice using your knowledge. We want to help close the gap between understanding a concept and feeling ready to use it at work.
And we’re looking forward to adding social learning and discussion, particularly around our Learning Path series.
Learning Paths already provide a sequence of courses for developing skills in a particular area. Adding discussion would give learners a place to ask questions, compare approaches, and exchange perspectives with others working through similar material. Someone else’s question—or their experience applying a concept—can be a valuable part of your own learning.
For now, we invite you to explore the new platform, try a podcast course, and take a look at your CPE Tracker. When you finish your next course, let us know what you think.
